Why Embodiment Matters in EMDR

EMDR is already a powerful therapy for trauma and distressing life experiences. When combined with movement-based interventions, participants have more opportunities to feel the shifts not only cognitively but also in their bodies. This embodied integration often leads to participants leaving sessions with a longer-lasting sense of empowerment, connection, and ease.
