Embodied EMDR Therapy

Virtual therapy for trauma, anxiety, and high-achieving adults across Massachusetts

You know you're enough. You just can't feel it yet.

You can name what's happening. You understand the patterns, you've read the books, you might even have a therapist — or be one yourself. And still, your body braces before hard conversations. Your inner critic narrates everything you did wrong. Rest feels like something you have to earn. The knowing is there. The feeling isn't.

That gap isn't a sign that you haven't worked hard enough. It's a sign that the work needs to reach somewhere words alone can't get to.

My Approach

Genevieve Fuller LMHC, EMDR Therapist in Boston, MA

I'm Genevieve, a Certified EMDR Therapist™ and a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. My background in therapeutic movement and nervous system work came before my EMDR training, and when I pursued EMDR, the two fit together in a way that changed how I practice. I call it Embodied EMDR: an approach that brings your body fully into the healing process, not as an afterthought, but as the focal point.

This work is for adults who are ready to stop managing and start actually shifting. I work with people navigating anxiety, complex trauma, relational wounds, low self-worth, and perfectionism that's been running the show for way too long. It's also for therapists, counselors, and mental health students who spend their days holding space for others and need somewhere that's genuinely just for them.

I offer virtual EMDR therapy throughout Massachusetts, including EMDR extended sessions for those who want to go deeper than a traditional 55-minute hour allows — more space, more momentum, more room for the work to actually land.

If you've been in the gap between knowing and feeling for a while, you don't have to stay there.

You Can Unmask Here

This is a space where you don't have to manage how you come across. LGBTQ+ individuals, people navigating cultural or religious complexity, therapists who are tired of holding it together, and anyone who has felt "too much" in the wrong rooms — you are always welcome here.

The goal isn't to fix you. It's to help you reconnect with what's already in you: the capacity to feel safe, to trust yourself, and to know, not just cognitively, but in your body, that you are enough.

“Genevieve possesses knowledge, warmth, patience and clarity in her work. Whether you are looking for embodied EMDR therapy, supervision or consultation, Genevieve smoothly ties together embodied work with EMDR and complex therapeutic concepts. You will feel seen, heard, understood and supported in your growth journey with Genevieve.”
